June is the ever-so-famous prodigy of the Republic. You know, I think both June and Day have similarities in their life: that they don't belong anywhere, except in their family. The latter events on Day's episode overlapped with the opening of this one, you'll see.Īnyway, in here we were able to find out what June really was like at university. Meanwhile, episode two tells us the story of June on her first day at Drake. Ahhh, the emotions.)Īnyway, Day reminds me of Percy Jackson because of the way he talks.

(I am listening to 'Almost Home' by Mariah Carey while typing this.

He's just a kid for him to experience such things. Fate had been so harsh to him, and so you couldn't blame him if it came to his mind to stay.īut he didn't. You could feel how Day longed for those things. People who would care for him, look after him. In this episode we saw how there were still people willing to take him in, to feed him. His story pinched my heart for how many times Day had lost everything he once had: family, shelter, freedom. I'm starting to adapt his dialect.) We were able to meet some of the people that had been part of Day's life, if only for briefly. At some point they happened simultaneously, one event resulting from another.Įpisode one is about Day and his first kiss, yeah? (Ohh. Life Before Legend tells us two different episodes of Day's and June's lives. Or in other words, what used to be their normal life. I really like reading back stories, prequels, short story companions they give us glimpses of what the characters' life had been before the storm finally hits.
